Household support
for life in Dubai.
Experienced nannies, nanny-housekeepers and household professionals, matched around the way your family actually lives.
House of Yaya works with families in Dubai and the wider UAE, with particular expertise in Filipino household professionals and an individual, search-led approach to recruitment.
Start with the household. Not a generic candidate list.
Dubai families can need very different things from the same job title.
A role may revolve around babies and toddlers, several school runs, a staffed household, frequent international travel, family cooking, household organisation or a combination of childcare and housekeeping.
We define those practical details first, then focus the search on candidates whose real experience and working preferences make sense for the position.
Different roles.
One matching approach.
The existing UAE service covers multiple household roles. The redesigned page makes the differences clearer so families don't have to begin with the perfect job title.
Nannies
Childcare-led positions shaped around children's ages, routines, school, activities, travel and the level of sole-charge responsibility required.
Nanny recruitment →Nanny-housekeepers
Combined roles where childcare remains clearly defined alongside realistic household responsibilities, often around school or nursery hours.
Nanny-housekeepers →Housekeepers
Household-focused support, with the scope, standards, working arrangement and any cooking or wardrobe responsibilities agreed from the outset.
Housekeepers →Travel nannies
For families who need childcare to continue across flights, holidays or time between residences, with travel expectations made explicit.
Travel support →Maternity & newborn support
Age-specific support where relevant newborn experience and the exact day/night arrangement are particularly important.
Newborn support →Carers & companionship
Household support roles beyond childcare, defined around the individual person's needs and the responsibilities actually required.

Dubai changes the logistics.
School routes, driving, travel and household structure can materially change who will suit the job.
Tell us about children's ages, schools or nursery arrangements, normal working hours, whether the role is live-in or live-out, driving expectations, household staffing, pets, travel, evening requirements and any accommodation provided.
If the family regularly travels internationally or moves between residences, that should be part of the brief from the beginning rather than introduced after interviews.

Recruitment first.
The paperwork follows.
House of Yaya focuses on finding and matching the right household professional for your family.
Visa, residency and sponsorship arrangements are not handled by House of Yaya. These are usually managed by the family through an appropriate third-party provider in the UAE. Once you've chosen your candidate, we can provide the relevant placement and candidate information needed for you or your chosen provider to take the next steps.
Visa, medical, insurance, residency and other government requirements remain the responsibility of the employer and their appointed provider.
The practical questions.
Does House of Yaya recruit in Dubai?
Yes. House of Yaya works with families in Dubai and across the UAE, recruiting experienced nannies, nanny-housekeepers and household professionals around the needs of each family.
Do you specialise in Filipino nannies?
Yes. Filipino household professionals are our particular area of expertise. Our network gives us access to experienced candidates, but every person is considered individually - based on their experience, skills, availability and the kind of role they are looking for next.
Can you recruit a nanny-housekeeper?
Yes. We recruit nanny-housekeepers as well as dedicated nannies and household professionals. We’ll help you define the balance between childcare and household responsibilities so candidates understand exactly what the role involves before they interview.
Can you recruit for families who travel frequently?
Yes. If travel is a regular part of your family life, we can make it part of the search from the beginning. We’ll look for candidates who are comfortable with the frequency and type of travel involved and make sure expectations around working arrangements and accommodation are clear before placement.
Do you handle UAE visas?
No. House of Yaya handles the recruitment and placement of your chosen candidate, but we do not process UAE visas, residency or sponsorship. These arrangements are usually handled by the family through an appropriate third-party provider. We can provide the relevant candidate and placement information needed for you or your provider to take the process forward.
How long does a UAE search take?
It depends on the role, your requirements and candidate availability. Some searches move quickly, while more specific briefs can take longer. We’d rather introduce a small number of genuinely suitable candidates than rush the process simply to meet a fixed timeframe. We’ll keep you updated throughout the search so you always know where things stand.
