Because House of Yaya uses a fixed fee rather than a percentage of salary, changing a candidate's salary does not automatically increase the agency fee.

Your household schedule

Temporary and babysitting bookings are £40 + VAT per day.
This is the agency fee, not the nanny's wages. The candidate's pay is agreed separately for that booking.

Why use a fixed placement fee?
Our placement fee stays the same regardless of the candidate’s salary. That means our recommendations aren’t influenced by how much a candidate earns — we can focus on finding the person who is right for your family and the role.
Is VAT added?
Yes. Our search fee and placement fee are quoted plus VAT.
What is included in the permanent placement fee?
Our permanent placement service includes the search and matching process, candidate screening, right-to-work checks, DBS verification where applicable, reference support and guidance through the offer and onboarding process. You’ll also have our support after the placement begins, together with the three-month replacement guarantee, subject to our Terms of Service.
What does the replacement guarantee cover?
Permanent placements come with a three-month replacement guarantee, subject to the conditions in our Terms of Service. If a placement ends during the guarantee period and the conditions are met, we’ll carry out a replacement search without charging another placement fee.
Are the nanny’s wages included in the agency fee?
No. The agency fee is separate from the salary you agree with your nanny or household professional. As the employer, you should also budget for any applicable employment costs, such as employer National Insurance, pension contributions and other statutory obligations.
What about international placements?
We also work with families looking for household support internationally. International placements can involve different requirements and costs depending on the country, role and circumstances, so we’ll discuss the appropriate fee structure with you before beginning the search.
