Find a household
that fits you too.
Tell us what you've actually done — and what kind of role you want next.
House of Yaya specialises in Filipino nannies and household professionals. Registration is about understanding your real experience, availability and preferences so we can consider you for relevant roles.
You don't need to sound like everybody else.
A good application is accurate, specific and honest.
If your strength is newborn care, say so. If you are an excellent housekeeper who enjoys family cooking, tell us. If you want childcare but not a housekeeping-heavy role, that matters too.
The point isn't to tick every box. It's to help us understand which boxes genuinely belong to you.
The useful things to tell us.
Your real experience
Children's ages you've cared for, household duties you've handled, cooking, travel, newborn work or other relevant private-household experience.
Your next role
Nanny, nanny-housekeeper, housekeeper, temporary work or another role — plus whether you prefer live-in or live-out.
Your practical availability
Where you are based, when you can start, the hours you can work and any genuine restrictions a family should know about.
Start your profile.
Tell us your experience, where you are based, and the kind of role you want. That is enough for us to see whether we can help.
You shouldn't have to retype your entire CV into dozens of boxes.
Registration isn't a promise of a job — or an obligation to take one.
We review
The team looks at your experience, availability and the kind of role you want.
We talk
If your profile is suitable for the agency's roles, the team can learn more about your background and preferences.
We match
Where a relevant vacancy comes up, House of Yaya can discuss the role with you before introducing you.
You decide
You meet the family and decide whether you want the role too.
Documents should be requested at the right time.
A first registration form doesn't need every sensitive document you own.
Identity, right to work, an Enhanced DBS and references may be needed as the process moves on. We ask for them when they are relevant, and we explain how they will be used.
Candidate registration FAQs.
Does it cost me anything to register?
Candidates are not charged a fee to register or to be introduced to a family. The placement fee is paid by the family. Details are on our fees page.
Will you send my profile to families automatically?
We discuss relevant roles with you rather than sending your profile to every family. We only share your details with a household when there is a role worth considering, and we explain that before we do.
Do I need to provide references immediately?
Not in the first form. If you are still in a job, we will not contact that employer until you have agreed.
What if I don't have a DBS yet?
Tell us if you already have an Enhanced DBS. If a role needs one and you do not have it, we arrange the check after you are matched with a family. You do not need to apply for a new one before you register.
Can I update my availability later?
Yes. Candidates should keep House of Yaya informed if their availability, location, notice period or preferred type of role changes.
Show us what
you actually do well.
Then we can look for households where that experience makes sense.
