Find a household
that fits you too.
Tell us what you've actually done — and what kind of role you want next.
House of Yaya specialises in Filipino nannies and household professionals. Registration is about understanding your real experience, availability and preferences so we can consider you for relevant roles.
You don't need to sound like everybody else.
A good application is accurate, specific and honest.
If your strength is newborn care, say so. If you are an excellent housekeeper who enjoys family cooking, tell us. If you want childcare but not a housekeeping-heavy role, that matters too.
The point isn't to tick every box. It's to help us understand which boxes genuinely belong to you.
The useful things to tell us.
Your real experience
Children's ages you've cared for, household duties you've handled, cooking, travel, newborn work or other relevant private-household experience.
Your next role
Nanny, nanny-housekeeper, housekeeper, temporary work or another role — plus whether you prefer live-in or live-out.
Your practical availability
Where you are based, when you can start, the hours you can work and any genuine restrictions a family should know about.
Start your profile.
This first step should collect enough information for House of Yaya to assess whether your experience matches the roles the agency handles.
You shouldn't have to retype your entire CV into dozens of boxes.
Registration isn't a promise of a job — or an obligation to take one.
We review
The team looks at your experience, availability and the kind of role you want.
We talk
If your profile is suitable for the agency's roles, the team can learn more about your background and preferences.
We match
Where a relevant vacancy comes up, House of Yaya can discuss the role with you before introducing you.
You decide
You meet the family and decide whether you want the role too.
Documents should be requested at the right time.
A first registration form doesn't need every sensitive document you own.
Identity, right-to-work, DBS and reference information may be needed as the process progresses, but the production workflow should collect only what is necessary at each stage and explain how it will be used.
Reference details can also be sensitive when you are still employed. The agency should make clear when previous employers may be contacted.
Candidate registration FAQs.
Does it cost me anything to register?
The production page should clearly state House of Yaya's current candidate-fee policy. Agency placement fees are intended to be client-facing; confirm the exact candidate terms before launch.
Will you send my profile to families automatically?
Your production consent process should explain when and how candidate information is shared. The intended matching approach is to discuss relevant roles rather than circulate profiles indiscriminately.
Do I need to provide references immediately?
Not necessarily in the first public form. The exact timing should follow House of Yaya's verified vetting process, particularly where a candidate is still employed and has not yet authorised contact with a current employer.
What if I don't have a DBS yet?
That does not need to be hidden. Tell the agency your current status. If an Enhanced DBS is required for a role, House of Yaya should explain its current application/check process.
Can I update my availability later?
Yes. Candidates should keep House of Yaya informed if their availability, location, notice period or preferred type of role changes.
Show us what
you actually do well.
Then we can look for households where that experience makes sense.
