Our vetting process begins with verifying that all candidates have the legal right to work and stay in the UK, which includes checking passports, visas, work permits, or citizenship documentation. We conduct thorough interviews to assess each candidate’s experience, qualifications, and suitability for different family environments. For your chosen candidate, we arrange a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check if they don’t already have a current one, ensuring you have complete visibility into their background before they join your household.

While we handle the initial screening and legal verification, we actually recommend that families conduct reference checks themselves. This approach gives you direct insight into the candidate’s previous work and allows you to ask questions most relevant to your specific situation and concerns. However, if you prefer us to handle reference verification, we’re happy to do so. This dual approach ensures both thorough vetting and your personal comfort with the process.

During our interview process, we require candidates to provide detailed information about their previous childcare roles, including employer contacts and specific responsibilities. We ask candidates to walk us through their experience with children of different ages, their approach to various childcare situations, and any specialized training they’ve received. When families conduct reference checks, we provide guidance on key questions to ask previous employers about the candidate’s reliability, childcare skills, and overall performance. This allows you to gain direct insights into how the candidate performed in their previous positions.

If any red flags appear during our screening process, we immediately remove the candidate from our database and will not present them to families. We take a zero-tolerance approach to any issues that could compromise child safety or family security. Our 24/7 support means that if concerns arise even after placement, families can reach us immediately to address the situation. We maintain detailed records of all vetting procedures and can provide families with documentation of the checks we’ve completed.

Not all candidates come to us with first aid and CPR certifications, but these are valuable qualifications that many families prioritize. If your chosen candidate doesn’t have current first aid certification, we can guide you on arranging a short course for them. Many families choose to send their new nanny on a first aid course shortly after placement, which ensures they have up-to-date training specific to UK standards and gives you peace of mind knowing they’re prepared for emergency situations.

We can recommend reputable providers for first aid and childcare-specific training courses, and many families include this as part of their onboarding process. This approach also allows you to ensure the training covers specific scenarios relevant to your children’s ages and any particular health considerations your family may have.

During our interview process, we discuss candidates’ educational backgrounds and any childcare-related training they’ve completed. Candidates provide information about their qualifications, and we assess their experience and knowledge through detailed conversations about their previous roles and childcare approaches. We recommend that families also discuss qualifications directly with candidates during interviews and verify any credentials that are particularly important to them through reference checks with previous employers.

While we don’t currently offer formal training programs, we are actively developing these services for our candidates. In the meantime, we provide guidance on professional development opportunities available in the UK and can recommend relevant courses or certifications that might enhance qualifications. Many families invest in their nanny’s professional development by sponsoring courses in first aid, child development, or specialized areas like special needs care. We support these initiatives and can help connect you with appropriate training providers.

Our commitment to safety doesn’t end at placement. We provide active support throughout the entire working relationship, not just during the initial three-month period. This includes regular check-ins with both families and nannies to ensure everything is progressing well and to address any concerns before they escalate. Our 24/7 availability means you can reach us immediately if any safety concerns arise, whether they’re related to childcare practices, household security, or interpersonal issues.

We also facilitate ongoing communication between families and nannies to maintain transparency and address any evolving needs or concerns. If situations arise that require mediation, we step in to help resolve conflicts professionally while keeping everyone’s safety and wellbeing as the top priority. Our experience with both Filipino culture and British family dynamics helps us navigate sensitive situations effectively.

Our 24/7 support system ensures that families and candidates can reach us immediately during emergencies or urgent safety situations. We maintain emergency contact protocols and can quickly coordinate with families to address any immediate concerns. If a safety issue requires immediate action, we can arrange temporary alternative care while we investigate and resolve the situation.

For less urgent but still important safety concerns, we provide guidance on proper procedures and can facilitate discussions between families and nannies to address issues constructively. Our goal is always to maintain safe environments while preserving positive working relationships whenever possible.

We understand that families often share sensitive information about their routines, schedules, and personal lives with their nannies. We maintain strict confidentiality protocols and ensure all candidates understand their responsibilities regarding family privacy. During our interview process, we discuss professional boundaries and the importance of discretion in household employment.

We also provide guidance to families on best practices for sharing information with new nannies, helping you balance necessary communication with appropriate privacy protection. Our ongoing support includes advice on maintaining healthy professional boundaries while building trust with your nanny.

Protecting our candidates is equally important to us. We provide detailed guidance on UK employment rights, including proper working hours, break requirements, holiday entitlements, and fair treatment expectations. Before any placement, we ensure candidates understand their rights and know how to recognize and report any inappropriate treatment or unsafe working conditions.

Our ongoing support includes regular check-ins with nannies to ensure they feel safe and respected in their positions. We maintain open communication channels so candidates can report concerns without fear of retaliation. If issues arise, we provide mediation services and, when necessary, can help candidates transition to more suitable placements.

We take any safety concerns from our candidates seriously. Our 24/7 support means nannies can reach us immediately if they feel unsafe or encounter inappropriate treatment. We investigate all concerns thoroughly and work to resolve issues through mediation when possible. However, if a placement proves unsuitable or unsafe, we can help candidates transition to new positions with families who better match their needs and expectations.

We also provide guidance on recognizing red flags in employment situations and empower our candidates to advocate for themselves while knowing they have our full support. Our large community of Filipino nannies across the UK also provides peer support and networking opportunities, creating additional safety nets for our candidates.

When conflicts arise, we act as neutral mediators to help both parties communicate effectively and find mutually acceptable solutions. Our experience with cultural differences and employment dynamics helps us understand various perspectives and facilitate productive discussions. We work to preserve positive relationships whenever possible while ensuring everyone’s rights and safety are protected.

If mediation doesn’t resolve the issues, we can help arrange transitions that work for both parties. Our three-month safety net period allows time to address concerns and make adjustments, but our support continues well beyond this initial period to ensure long-term success and satisfaction.

We expect all our nannies to maintain professional standards in childcare, including creating safe environments, following family guidelines, maintaining appropriate boundaries, and prioritizing children’s wellbeing at all times. During our interview process, we assess candidates’ understanding of child safety, their approach to discipline and education, and their overall childcare philosophy to ensure they meet professional standards.

We also provide guidance on UK childcare expectations and help candidates understand the importance of following family safety rules and maintaining appropriate professional conduct. Our ongoing support includes answering questions about specific safety situations and providing resources for continued learning about best practices in childcare.

During our interview and placement process, we discuss UK-specific safety requirements, including household safety practices, emergency procedures, and child protection guidelines. We ensure candidates understand the importance of following family safety rules and maintaining appropriate professional boundaries.

We also provide ongoing guidance on UK employment standards and help candidates understand their responsibilities in maintaining safe environments for children. Families play an important role in this process by clearly communicating their specific household rules, safety expectations, and emergency procedures during the onboarding period.

Absolutely. Many families choose to invest in their nanny’s professional development by arranging additional training courses. This might include first aid certification for candidates who don’t have it, specialized courses in areas like infant care or special needs support, or advanced childcare qualifications. We can recommend reputable training providers and support families in arranging these opportunities for their nannies. This investment not only enhances safety but also demonstrates your commitment to your nanny’s professional growth.

Our commitment to safety extends throughout the entire working relationship. We conduct regular check-ins with both families and nannies to assess how placements are progressing and identify any emerging concerns. These conversations help us spot potential issues early and provide support before problems escalate.

We also gather feedback from both parties to continuously improve our matching process and support services. This ongoing monitoring helps us maintain high standards and ensures that both families and candidates feel supported and secure in their arrangements.

Our thorough vetting process and ongoing support contribute to successful long-term placements for the majority of our families and candidates. We focus on creating matches based on compatibility, shared values, and clear expectations, which helps prevent many common issues that can arise in household employment.

When challenges do occur, our mediation services and ongoing support help resolve most situations successfully. Our three-month safety net provides additional security, but many of our relationships continue successfully for years with our continued support and guidance.

We maintain open communication channels and encourage both families and candidates to share feedback about their experiences, including any safety concerns or suggestions for improvement. Our 24/7 availability means you can reach us immediately with urgent concerns, while less pressing feedback can be shared during our regular check-ins.

We take all feedback seriously and use it to continuously improve our services and safety protocols. Whether you have suggestions for better vetting procedures, additional support services, or ways to enhance communication, we value your input in helping us maintain the highest standards of safety and security for everyone in our community.
